Regular Tuesday Morning Breakfast Meeting, Guest Speaker: Joel Sullivan, Regional Executive for the American Red Cross-Tennessee Region, overseeing operations, volunteer efforts, and disaster .
Joel Sullivan is the Regional Executive of the American Red Cross-Tennessee Region and Executive Director of the Nashville Area Chapter. He oversees staff encompassing eight Chapters, 98 counties, and over 3,000 volunteers. Prior to accepting his position in March of 2010, Mr. Sullivan was an active volunteer with the American Red Cross and past Board member.
Born in Utah, raised in Alabama, Joel graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. degree in Accounting. His leadership experience includes serving as the CFO of SouthTrust Bank of Tennessee, as well as leading numerous entrepreneurial start-ups and contributing to community leadership positions across a number of diverse businesses including both for-profit and non-profit.
His entrepreneurial skills were honed as owner of Sullivan Concepts, a company that focuses on assisting new companies/struggling companies with their vision and process improvement. His proven “medical model” concept has helped numerous companies identify, implement and measure processes for improvement.
He is very active and engaged in the Nashville community including volunteering as a Captain with the Davidson County Office of Emergency Management – Emergency Support Unit, Board Member and past Finance Chair, Vice Chair and Chair of the Nashville General Hospital Authority, Co-creator/Instructor of the Leadership Institute. His past involvement includes Literacy Council Instructor with the Nashville Adult Literacy Council, Board Member/Volunteer Nashville Area Red Cross, Board Member/Treasurer of Family and Children’s Service, past President and Board Member of the Nashville Area Chamber’s West Area Business Council, past President/Board Member of the Nashville Area Junior Chamber of Commerce, Board Member/Treasurer/Chairman of Nashville Education and Community Arts Television, and Board Member of Nashville CATV Special Committee.
Joel makes his home in Nashville, TN. He enjoys social activities, SCUBA diving for recreation, rescue, and recovery, boating and flying both real and remote control aircraft.

Individual Membership: One-time $20 joining fee, Dues: $220 yearly or $55 per quarter.
Business Membership: One-time $50 joining fee, Dues: $220 yearly or $55 per quarter. Business members may send anyone to our meetings.
Club members enjoy fun, relaxed meetings. We begin every meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and after a few minutes of project updates, we enjoy informative and interesting guest speakers and discussions. Come join our meetings and be part of good fellowship with friends and neighbors as we all work together to make Bellevue a better place!
