The FiftyForward J.L. Turner Center cordially invites you to step back in time to an age of glamour and excitement as a Sponsor for our first annual social & dance, An Evening in Old Hollywood, on September 28, 2018. We expect over 100 FiftyForward members, supporters, and community leaders to join us for a night of fun, live music, great food, dancing, and Hollywood flair at the beautiful Martin Center in Brentwood.
This event will raise funds for the over 50 services and activities at the Turner center that support, champion and enhance life for older adults in the Bellevue community. We serve more than 860 senior adults annually at our location inside the Bellevue YMCA.
A large banner will be on display at the event, and for the rest of the fiscal year after inside our center. All sponsors at the Director level ($500) and above will have their company logos featured on this display. Above the Line Star Sponsors will have their company name listed.
$5,000 Level—Major Studio
All the benefits of the Executive Producer Level as well as prominent logo on event banner. Logo on podium during event. Front page recognition on the program & invitation. Two-minute presentation from the stage before music begins at the event. Includes one additional sponsorship of another event at the center of your choosing, which will include another two-minute presentation. Recognition in the Forward Focus Quarterly Newspaper that has over 35,000 copies distributed city-wide.
$1000 Level—Executive Producer
Four Tickets to the Event. Recognition in event marketing, slideshow and program. Company logo on the event banner, and in one year (12 issues) of our monthly newsletter, distributed to over 1,000 members and supporters in Nashville. Mention in all announcements to media, social media, and special mentions from the podium at the event.
$750 Level— Associate Producer – Sponsor of the Silent Auction or Red Carpet (Only 2 Available)
All of the benefits of the Director level sponsorship as well as company logo on all signage and sheets for the silent auction, or logo featured on our “Red Carpet” photo booth. Mention from the podium as the Silent Auction or Red Carpet sponsor.
$500 Level— Director
Two Tickets to the Event. Recognition in event marketing, slideshow and program. Small logo on the event banner, and in two issues of our monthly newsletter, which is distributed to over 1,000 members and supporters in Nashville.
$250 Level— Above the Line Star
Two Tickets to the Event. Recognition in event marketing and program. Company name listed on event
banner, and two issues of our monthly newsletter.

FiftyForward is a non-profit agency in Middle Tennessee that supports, champions and enhances life for adults fifty and old. Established in 1956, we serve more than 20,000 senior adults across the region. Here in Bellevue, the FiftyForward J.L. Turner Center was established in 2006, inside the Bellevue Family YMCA. In 12 years, we have grown to serving over 860 members annually.
Some of the many programs offered at the FiftyForward J.L. Turner Center include; Bellevue History & Genealogy Club, Health & Wellness Education, Art Classes, Service Projects, Writer’s Groups, Medicare Education, Support Services, Day Trips, Music, Theatre, and more. It is not uncommon for our members to credit FiftyForward for vastly improving their health, quality of life, and social activity.
Creating community is what we do at the Turner Center. Rise Tucker, long time member, director of the center’s Rhythm Band, and 2017 Volunteer of the Year award winner said, “The center encourages us to discover and explore things we simply love to do, and to share that enthusiasm with others.”
The growth and success of our center has created the need for fundraising, and we will have our first annual fundraiser, An Evening in Old Hollywood, on September 28th, 2018 at the FiftyForward Martin Center.
This event will be a social & dance, with live music, dinner, a dance floor, a silent auction, red carpet photobooth and more. We will be celebrating the golden era of 1940s Hollywood with a music, decorations, and dancing from the era. A live band will help us swing, lindyhop, and jitterbug the night away.
Tickets are available through the Turner Center and a discount is available to current FiftyForward Members.
We are currently looking for corporate sponsors that share our passion for the Bellevue community, and wish to be recognized at this event and inside our center for the next year.
Your support will help the center meet its staffing needs, fund transportation programs, increase our programs, and much more. We hope to partner with businesses invested in Bellevue, and with a heart for our aging population. We hope to use your generous gift to help both the center, and our community at large.
We understand there are all types of businesses, big and small, and we are offering several levels of sponsorship. If these don’t work for you, perhaps you would consider participating in our Silent Auction at the event, and we would be happy to provide you with more information on that.
