Tara has worked with other nonprofits\, including Vanderbilt University and Tennessee Performing Arts Center. Tara holds a BS in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a MS in Strategic Fundraising and Philanthropy from Bay Path University. She loves to read and spend time outdoors.\n\n\n\nDorris Walker-Taylor\, a 2012 Graduate of the Thistle Farms Residential Program\, has overcome 26 years of addiction\, trauma\, and prostitution. Today\, Dorris is a survivor! \n\n\n\nDorris is an accomplished speaker and advocate\, having been interviewed multiple times. She currently serves as the Thistle Farms Senior Community Ambassador\, bringing the story of Thistle Farms to our Nashville community and beyond.
