DESCRIPTION:Lucy Kempf - Director of Planning\, City of Nashville\n\n\n\nLucy Kempf was named Executive Director of the Metropolitan Nashville-Davidson County Planning Department in June 2018 after two years as manager of the Department's Land Development division.  \n\n\n\nShe leads a staff of 50 in guiding Nashville and Davidson County's growth and development\, processing development applications\, and contributing to the community's vision and direction for the future. \n\n \n\nLucy will be addressing our members about the Nashville Planning Commission's principles and how they are working to create great environments that improve our quality of life and help businesses succeed. She will also address the challenges we currently face in Nashville\, like growth\, traffic\, affordable housing and improving connectivity. Lucy will talk about land use policies in the Bellevue area and how we can promote the development of office space. She will open the floor to questions. The Chamber Board looks forward to hearing your input on how we can direct our vision as a community within the greater Nashville Metropolitan Area\, and how the BHCC can work with the Planning Commission to shape the vision of our community.
