SUMMARY:Hybrid Luncheon - April 15\, 2021 at Temple Hills Country Club
DESCRIPTION:We are proud to present our first Hybrid Chamber Luncheon at Temple Hills Country Club!\n\n\n\nGuest Speaker: Kirbee Miller\, Owner & Culinary Experience Curator of KiNiMi Kitchen.\nAbout Kirbee Miller\, founder of KiNiMi Kitchen:\n\n\n\nCooking and baking have been an integral part of my life since childhood. Some of my fondest memories are in the kitchen!\n\nGrowing up in Michigan in a cooking family and surrounded by neighbors with various cooking styles\, I had a diverse training ground. Whether it was assisting my mother as she made her famous peach cobbler or watching my neighbor as she roasted peppers for her delicious stuffed peppers known around the neighborhood or taking in every detail as my aunt made her legendary seafood gumbo\, each session in the kitchen was invigorating! I recall sitting for hours looking through cookbooks with fascination! I would select a variety from my mother?s backer?s rack\, find a quiet place often behind the couch with a blanket\, and just get lost in my own culinary world of imagination and possibilities.\n\nMy mother often recounts moments when she found me in the kitchen experimenting and cooking as early as 5 years old. Too short to reach the counter? That didn?t stop me\, I would drag a barstool across the kitchen climb\, up and get down to business.\n\n\nMy heart is in the kitchen.\n\n\nAfter high school\, I moved to Nashville Tennessee. That is where I got my degree in Biology and Chemistry\, my Masters in Healthcare informatics\, found the love of my life and created a home. Nashville\, has a rich culinary history and living in the epicenter and burgeoning city of Nashville\, there is a beautiful mixture of traditional southern food\, international cuisine and foods from all of the ?transplant? residents that have also made Nashville their home.\n\nMy heart is in the kitchen and I get such joy through sharing love and the opportunity to connect over a table full of delicious\, flavorful food. There are few things better than the few seconds of contemplative silence that follows the first bite of food then the person expresses how they feel sometimes in words\, and sometimes with an expressive gesture. Yep\, that never gets old.\n\nKiNiMi Kitchen is my opportunity to share my passion with all of you while spending time in the kitchen with friends and family learning\, exploring and most importantly\, creating memories.\n\nThank you for taking the time to stop by I hope you find a little piece of inspiration and some great recipes to share with those you love!
