SCORE is a non-profit resource for the Small Business Administration (SBA).  \n\n \n\nHis background includes a degree in Economics from East Tennessee State University\, twelve years service in the US Army in Viet Nam and Germany\, and 30+ years working for manufacturing companies in supply chain\, purchasing\, inventory control and logistics.  He has worked for a number of companies including Maytag\, Danaher\, Johnson Controls and BAE Systems.\n\n \n\nHe has been very involved in mentoring and teaching for professional organizations such as APICS\, The Association for Operations Management\, and the Institute for Supply Management and now is a counselor with Score Nashville counseling small business owners in how to start & manage a business.  He and his family reside in Franklin TN.
