Rudy has also garnered 15 Associated Press awards for the outstanding sportscast in the state of Tennessee and he has been voted the best sportscaster in Nashville over 25 times by various publications. He is a member of the Metro High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame and a member of the Nashville Speedway Hall of Fame
