Description
Long-time community worker Dr. Sheri Weiner is proud to have represented the 22nd District on the Metro Council since 2011. She has led the charge to "renovate" Bellevue - think Predators facility, Regional Community Center, local high school, library, One Bellevue Place...Prior to her election our 2007 Bellevue Citizen of the Year served as President of the Bellevue Chamber, President of the Exchange Club of Bellevue and co-chaired the Bellevue Picnic.
Caring community members in Bellevue, led by Councilman Charlie Tygard, stepped in years ago to help a family in trouble & the wheels were set in motion to help many others. Thanks to the creation of the Bellevue Community Fund there is now a dedicated pool of charitable dollars available to support community programs.
This event provides the opportunity for the community to roast and toast Sheri, and increase the grant-making resources for The Bellevue Community Foundation. Enjoy a fun evening with neighbors and friends who share a commitment to Bellevue.
